The Friendship Pass - Friendship Freight Channel Smart Port is the first cross-border smart port project between China and Vietnam. It adopts satellite navigation, unmanned container transportation, automated lifting and intelligent command and dispatch. After completion, it can realize 24-hour unmanned customs clearance operations for cross-border logistics between China and Vietnam. It is expected that the port's traffic capacity will increase by 2,000 vehicles per day. Liu Ning came to the project construction site to learn about the progress in detail and affirmed the progress of the project construction. He pointed out that the joint construction of the China-Vietnam Smart Port is an important measure for Guangxi and Lang Son Vietnam to jointly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two parties and two countries of China and Vietnam and serve the construction of a strategically significant China-Vietnam community of shared future. He encouraged all parties involved in the project construction to work together to speed up the project construction and ensure that the Chinese section will be put into trial operation by the end of this year. At the same time, we must actively strengthen communication and docking with the Vietnamese side, promote the accelerated construction of the Vietnamese section of the project, strive for the early completion and commissioning of the smart port, and add new impetus to China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation.

It is necessary to give full play to the traction and driving role of smart ports, deepen cross-border industrial cooperation, promote the construction of port-side industrial parks along the border, form a high-level opening scene, help create a convenient place for domestic and international dual-circulation market operations, and better serve and integrate into the new development pattern.
