As the saying goes, “Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand miles.” To enrich employees’ lives beyond work, relieve the physical and mental stress associated with long hours at their desks, break down departmental barriers, and foster communication, mutual understanding, and teamwork, Guangxi Jiugui Jieda carefully organized a company trip to the vast western reaches of China. Setting off from Nanning, employees embarked on an unforgettable journey to the magnificent Xinjiang region. Leaving behind their busy work schedules, the team traveled more than 4,000 kilometers to discover the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Xinjiang. Amid spectacular mountains and rivers, they found opportunities to unwind and recharge, while the time spent traveling and sharing experiences strengthened team spirit and andunity.

Throughout the journey, the team admired the stunning natural scenery of Northern Xinjiang, including snow-capped mountains, the crystal-clear Heavenly Lake, vast Gobi deserts, traditional villages, boundless alpine grasslands, and brilliant blue plateau lakes. Immersed in these remarkable landscapes, everyone experienced Xinjiang’s unique geographical diversity and distinctive regional charm, where “four seasons can be seen in a single day, and the weather changes every ten miles.”

After flying thousands of kilometers from Nanning, the team arrived in Urumqi. With the journey’s fatigue behind them, everyone gathered around the table to enjoy an authentic Xinjiang dinner featuring rich local flavors. Amid laughter and lively conversation, this highly anticipated team-building adventure in China’s western frontier officially began.

Leaving Urumqi behind, the team headed to the breathtaking Heavenly Lake of Tianshan, a natural wonder of extraordinary beauty. Snow-capped peaks were reflected in the emerald-green waters, creating a spectacular harmony of mountains and lake that unfolded like a magnificent landscape painting. The journey continued along the popular S21 Desert Highway, where vehicles traveled through an endless sea of sand. The team then explored the Karamaili Desert Park, experiencing firsthand the vastness and grandeur of the Gobi and desert landscapes. As the golden rays of the setting sun bathed the rolling dunes, the boundless beauty and untamed spirit of China’s western frontier came vividly to life.

Continuing northward, the team arrived at the colorful Five-Colored Beach, where the Irtysh River flows gently through the landscape. Over time, wind and rain have sculpted the riverbank’s rock formations into a dazzling array of colors, creating a breathtaking display of nature’s artistry. The spectacular Yardang landforms, shaped by centuries of erosion, left everyone in awe. The journey then continued to the secluded Hemu Scenic Area, nestled among the mountains and forests. Strolling through golden birch groves, the team enjoyed the tranquil beauty of the autumn scenery, while wisps of cooking smoke rose gently from traditional wooden houses of the Tuva people. The peaceful surroundings and rustic village charm created a picturesque pastoral atmosphere, offering a welcome moment of serenity amid the journey.

The team ventured into Kanas, renowned as a “fairyland on earth,” where lush, layered forests surrounded crystal-clear turquoise waters. The magnificent mountains and serene lakes complemented one another in perfect harmony, creating breathtaking natural scenery at every turn. Here, everyone immersed themselves in the extraordinary beauty of Altay’s mountains, forests, and lakes, appreciating the region’s remarkable natural splendor.

Departing from Karamay, the team stopped at the Kilometer Zero starting point of the legendary Duku Highway before embarking on this iconic scenic route. Winding its way through the majestic Tianshan Mountains, the highway revealed ever-changing landscapes at every turn, with snow-capped peaks, lush forests, and verdant meadows unfolding one after another. The team immersed themselves in the breathtaking greenery of the Tangbula Grassland, renowned as a hundred-mile gallery of natural beauty. Against a backdrop of towering snow-capped mountains and endless emerald-green pastures, everyone experienced the grandeur and charm of Xinjiang’s spectacular alpine landscapes.

The team soared skyward by cable car to explore the vast and magnificent Nalati Sky Prairie. Endless alpine meadows stretched as far as the eye could see, while majestic snow-capped mountains formed a stunning backdrop in the distance. Surrounded by this breathtaking natural beauty, everyone experienced the unique romance and enchanting charm of China’s western frontier.

At the final stop of the journey, the team took a shuttle bus around Sayram Lake, famously known as “the Last Tear of the Atlantic.” Vast expanses of crystal-clear, deep-blue water stretched across the horizon, facing snow-covered mountains in the distance. As a gentle breeze swept across the lake, delicate ripples danced on the water’s surface, revealing the breathtaking grandeur and serene beauty of this high-altitude lake. Along the lakeshore, team members stopped to take photos, capturing precious moments with the magnificent snow-capped mountains and azure waters as their backdrop—lasting memories of a remarkable journey shared together.

This meaningful Northern Xinjiang team-building journey came to a successful conclusion. Over eight unforgettable days exploring China’s western frontier, colleagues traveled side by side, taking in the vast solitude of the desert, boundless grasslands, towering snow-capped mountains, and crystal-clear lakes. Leaving behind the pressures and demands of their daily work, team members supported and looked after one another throughout the journey, sharing conversations and heartfelt moments along the way. Surrounded by the magnificent landscapes of Xinjiang, they strengthened their bonds, deepened mutual understanding, and brought their hearts closer together. More than just a journey to discover breathtaking scenery, this experience was an opportunity to strengthen team cohesion, foster collaboration, and create lasting memories together—building a stronger foundation for moving forward as one team.

Though the journey through these magnificent landscapes has come to an end, the strength of unity knows no bounds. While this wonderful trip may be over, the precious friendships, deepened team spirit, and warmth shared along the way will remain with us for years to come. Returning to their respective roles, all team members will channel the enthusiasm and renewed energy gained from this team-building experience into their daily work.
